Atheno

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 23, 2026

1. Who we are

atheno is operated by Regulus Group. For any privacy-related inquiries, contact us at privacy@regulusgroup.eu.

2. What data we collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

  • Email address — for authentication
  • Profile preferences — your role, industry, focus, and other onboarding answers used to personalize reports
  • URLs you submit — the web addresses you ask us to analyze
  • Generated reports — the analysis results we produce for you

We do not collect names, phone numbers, physical addresses, payment information, or any sensitive personal data.

3. Why we collect it

  • To authenticate you and maintain your account
  • To personalize analysis reports based on your profile
  • To store your report history so you can access it later
  • To send you transactional emails (login links, welcome email)

4. Legal basis

We process your data based on your consent (when you create an account) and our legitimate interest in operating the service. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

5. Data processors

We use the following third-party services to operate atheno:

  • Supabase (EU/US) — authentication and database
  • Vercel (US) — application hosting
  • Digital Ocean (EU) — AI processing infrastructure
  • Resend (US) — email delivery

Where data is transferred outside the EU, our processors maintain appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all associated data — your profile, preferences, and analysis history — is permanently removed.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erase your data (delete your account)
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@regulusgroup.eu.

8. Cookies

atheno uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use analytics cookies or tracking technologies.

9. AI-generated content

Reports generated by atheno are produced using AI and are intended for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice. We do not permanently store the content of the URLs you submit — only the resulting report.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
